
Our Most Prestigious Court
We are excited to announce our Prom Court selection process, which includes four levels of court, each with four candidates for Queen and four candidates for King. Below are the requirements and important details to ensure a fair and memorable experience for all participants.
Eligibility Requirements
1. Homeschool Student Status

Must currently be homeschooling with a valid Declaration of Intent (DOI) on file for the present academic year.

Must meet the age requirements for high school-level homeschoolers (typically 14–18, unless otherwise specified).
2. Gender Specification
-
Natural-born female to be considered for Queen.

Natural-born male to be considered for King.
3. Community Involvement

Candidates should be actively engaged in volunteer work, community service projects, and/or extracurricular activities that reflect leadership and teamwork.
4. Bio Submission
- Each candidate must submit a brief bio outlining:

Personal hobbies and interests

Number of years homeschooled

Volunteer work and community involvement

Academic achievements (e.g., GPA, notable awards)

Participation in clubs, sports, or other activities demonstrating leadership qualities and positive citizenship
5. Conduct & Attendance

Candidates must be in good standing within their homeschool community and have no record of significant disciplinary actions.

Candidates (and their parents/guardians, if the candidate is a minor) agree to abide by the event’s code of conduct and dress code.

Candidates must be present at the prom to be eligible for crowning.
Court Selection & Levels

There are four levels of court, each with four candidates for King and four candidates for Queen.

Specific grade- or age-based levels have been determined by the organizers (Freshman Court, Sophomore Court, Junior Court, and Senior Court).
Voting Process
1. Online Voting
-
Friends and family can cast votes online at \$1.00 per vote.

Voting links or platforms will be shared with all candidates once they are officially confirmed.
2. Deadline & Transparency
-
A clear deadline for voting will be set (e.g., one week before the prom).

The total vote count for each candidate is kept confidential until final announcement.
3. Distribution of Proceeds
-
A portion of the voting proceeds will be allocated to a cash prize fund, which will be **split among the winners** at each court level.

The remaining proceeds may support event costs, scholarships, or charitable causes, as determined by the organizers.
4. Winners & Announcement

Prom King and Queen in each level will be announced and crowned during the prom event.

All results are final and determined solely by the number of votes received.

Organizers reserve the right to disqualify any candidate who fails to meet the eligibility or conduct requirements.
